Terms of Use

Effective date: October 18, 2026.

These Terms cover use of FuzzyTask and subscriptions purchased within its Android app through Google Play. They do not offer a website checkout or an iPhone subscription.

1. What FuzzyTask provides

FuzzyTask is a productivity app for capturing ideas, sorting priorities, selecting a task of the day, scheduling reminders and reviewing progress. You choose your content and priorities. The app does not guarantee productivity results or replace professional advice.

Public availability has not yet been announced. The Android app is currently in internal testing. Public release validation is ongoing. These Terms do not announce a public app launch date.

2. Using the app and your content

You may use FuzzyTask for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable store requirements. Do not interfere with the app’s operation or misuse its purchase mechanisms. You retain your rights in the content you enter. The operator does not need a right to publish your tasks or reflective answers to provide the current app’s on-device functions.

FuzzyTask is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You must be at least 18 to use the app and able to enter into the subscription agreement under applicable law. The current catalog territory is the United States; no other launch territory is assumed.

3. Plans, prices and renewal

The current US Google Play catalog contains an auto-renewing monthly plan at US $4.99 per month and an auto-renewing annual plan at US $29.99 per year. The annual amount is billed for the year, not as monthly installments. The catalog is currently configured for the United States; these prices are not an assertion that the app is available in other territories.

Before confirming a purchase, check the selected plan, actual price, billing period, applicable taxes and offer terms displayed by Google Play. Store-displayed purchase terms apply to that transaction. Any future price change must follow applicable law and Google Play’s notice and consent requirements.

The subscription renews for the selected billing period unless canceled through Google Play before the next renewal. Google Play processes subscription charges using the payment arrangements associated with your Google account. FuzzyTask does not accept subscription payments through this website.

Selected complimentary access

If you receive a complimentary access code and your app version supports redemption, a valid issued code can grant full app access under the terms of that license without a purchase or payment. Complimentary licenses are issued to selected recipients; the normal Google Play trial and purchased subscription plans continue to apply to other access.

Redeeming a code does not itself cancel an existing Google Play subscription, stop its renewal or create a refund. Manage any existing subscription through Google Play. Supported offline codes are checked on the device and do not use a remote revocation check; we do not promise that an issued offline code can be remotely disabled.

This conditional provision does not announce that code redemption is included in the current public release, or announce a public release date.

4. Seven-day trial eligibility

The configured offers provide a seven-day free trial for eligible customers who have not previously had this subscription, as determined by Google Play. A trial is available only if the eligible offer is displayed for your purchase. If you are ineligible, the app may instead display the paid base plan.

When an eligible trial ends, it converts automatically to the selected paid subscription at its displayed recurring price unless you cancel before the trial ends. Check Google Play’s confirmation for your actual trial end and billing details. A trial does not require a second purchase to convert to paid access.

5. Manage or cancel through Google Play

Use the app’s subscription-management action or open Google Play subscriptions with the Google account used for the purchase. Select FuzzyTask, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the steps shown. Google’s cancellation instructions explain the current process.

Uninstalling the app, clearing its data or emailing support does not by itself cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid conversion, or before the next renewal to stop that renewal.

For an ordinary paid-period cancellation, access generally continues for the remainder of the paid period. Google Play displays the applicable end date; refunds, regional rights or other changes can affect that outcome. No immediate cancellation or prorated-refund promise is made here.

6. Refunds and purchase problems

Refund eligibility depends on Google Play’s applicable rules, the purchase circumstances and your statutory rights. See Google Play’s refund guidance. Contact hello@fuzzytask.app for app-related support. A refund is not promised solely because an email request was sent.

These Terms do not exclude any refund, remedy or other consumer right that applicable law does not permit the operator to exclude.

7. Access checks, offline use and restoration

For purchased subscriptions, the app checks subscription ownership through Google Play. A pending, declined, canceled purchase attempt or billing error does not itself establish a paid entitlement. Use Restore purchases or Retry if the app needs to reconcile your purchase, with the relevant Google Play account available.

Task processing is on the device, but billing requires connectivity. The current implementation permits a bounded offline-access period of up to 72 hours from an eligible ownership observation; this is not an extension of your purchased term or a guarantee of three additional days after expiry. Reconnection may be needed to refresh access. Store and device conditions can affect what ownership information is available.

Reinstalling or restoring device data requires a fresh Play access check. A task export or Android backup does not transfer subscription entitlement. There is no promise of immediate restoration or indefinite offline paid access.

8. Your records when access ends

Loss of subscription access does not instruct the app to erase task records. The implemented read-only archive lets you view available notes and copy a text export, including when onboarding was not completed. Editing and other paid actions require valid access.

This is not a promise that every feature remains available without a subscription or that data will survive device loss, deletion or a failed restore. Keep appropriate copies of information you need. Importing a migration file replaces the covered current app records rather than merging them.

9. Reminders, availability and changes

Reminder delivery depends on Android permissions, settings and device conditions. The app should not be your only safeguard for an essential deadline or safety-critical action.

Features and supported versions may change. Material changes affecting a paid subscription, its pricing or these Terms must be handled with the notices, choices and remedies required by applicable law and Google Play rules. This section does not authorize removing paid benefits contrary to those requirements.

Google Play’s applicable terms also govern use of its purchase and payment services. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
